Authentication is everything
Every watch that passes through ChronoClassics is personally inspected by me. I know the tells — a refinished dial, a replaced crown, an incorrect serial range. If it doesn't check out, it doesn't go in my store. Full stop.
Case, crystal, crown, dial, and bracelet are examined closely for any signs of tampering, polishing, or non-original parts.
The serial number is cross-referenced against known manufacturer records and production ranges. The movement is checked for originality.
After authentication, I research recent comparable sales to ensure every price reflects true current market value — fair for both sides.
